WCC-RMDS Executive Committee meeting was held June 17, 2009 at Tempranillo in Basalt with seven attending:  President Judi Family, Vice Pres. Sue Pietrzak, Treasurer Barbara McElnea, Secretary Barbara Terry and Bob Pietrzak, Tara Alibrandi and Rosemary Strong.

Barbara McElnea gave the treasurer’s report.  We approved the purchase of a set of Test Forms from USEF, FEI and new ribbons for our upcoming shows.  It was determined we will charge $5.00 entry fee  (plus a added $1 fee for non-members) for each test ridden at our 2009 schooling shows. There will be NO office fee.

All three shows will be at Barbara McElnea’s (6059 County Road 100, Carbondale).  We discussed having prizes/awards: Judi volunteered to donate a high point prize for one show and we may have a reserve award as well.  We will use the entry fees to provide drinks and possibly muffins for all participants.  We will also consider a gift certificate for the Roaring Fork Co-op as another high point prize.

The first show will be Tuesday, July 21st, 10am.  We will ask Sandy Smith to judge.  At this show we will have a lead line class with Sue Pietrzak providing procedural information.

The second show will be Wed. August 19th, 10 a.m.  We will ask Allison West or Anita Williams to judge.  There will be a breeding show first, followed by dressage.

The third show will be Tuesday, September 8th, 10 AM.  Possible judges are Pam Fisher, Maree McAteer, Marian Nielsen.

Barbara McElnea will send out the newsletter. We discussed having a fall/awards  dinner meeting to mark the end of the 2009 shows and further information will follow.  New business discussed included the possibility of having a clinic.  No additional motions were presented and we closed the meeting
